A public health nurse from Southern Berkshire Public Health Collaborative will be providing blood pressure checks and health education at the Sheffield Senior Center on the 1st Friday of every month from 11:15am -12:15pm. Contact Jill Sweet at 413 717 7209 if you have any questions.
The Southern Berkshire Public Health Collaborative will be hosting a Flu/COVID Clinic in Sheffield on Thursday, 10/2/25 at the Mt Everett Cafeteria, 491 Berkshire School Rd, Sheffield, MA.
Registration is required to ensure we have proper staffing and vaccines. To register, go to home.color.com/vaccine/register/tritown or call (413) 243-5540 x109 for assistance. In-home vaccinations are also available for those who have difficulty leaving their house.
SBPHC will be hosting a free car seat check event on Saturday, May 31st from 10am – 2pm at the Kiwanis/Rotary Safety Event being held at the Great Barrington VFW, 800 Main St, Great Barrington, MA.
Car seat installations/inspections take about 30-45 minutes and include education on installing the seat, proper use of the seat, and general vehicle safety. Appointments are strongly encouraged by visiting https://bit.ly/VFWCarseat

The public health program at SBPHC is gearing up to make it easy South County residents to access the vaccines they need to stay healthy this fall and winter by offering pre-registration assistance for clinic appointments and by increasing awareness about our homebound vaccine program.
SBPHC staff will be holding a no-cost clinic with updated COVID vaccine and Regular Flu vaccine for ages 6 months or older (or high-dose flu for ages 65+) at the:
Stockbridge Town Hall on Thurs 11/21 from 1:30 – 3:30pm
as part of a series of clinics being held throughout Southern Berkshire County during October, November and December. In-home vaccinations are also available to people living in member towns who are homebound who call the office and request an appointment.
